The British Museum

Today we went to the British Museum. We saw lots of mummies! My favorite part was a decorated sarcophagus. It is a case for the mummy. We learned how they mummified the bodies by embalming. We saw a real mummy with her fingernails tied on. After that, we went and had tea at The Muffin Man. I had chocolate cake with my tea. This is a picture of MeMaw and me at the tearoom. She had scones with her tea.
